Here at Handcraft Studio School, we love to throw a good party. So, to celebrate the studio and help raise funds for its well being, we threw a fundraiser in the form of a fantastic fête just before we officially opened our doors to the public in September. With good friends, delicious small bites, and, of course, some handcrafted fun, we welcomed Handcraft Studio School to the neighborhood.
Over 45 guests joined us to celebrate our opening. It was a beautiful way to christen the new space. Guests crafted paper flowers with the help of their teachers Marie Muscardini, Robyn Muscardini and Aleishall Girard Maxon. Before we knew it, the studio bloomed with bouquets of paper peonies, roses, and carnations. and of course—good cheer.
Delicious food and drinks created a convivial atmosphere for friends both new and old. We also held a raffle and gave away a variety of great prizes to our guests. Prizes included Muscardini Cellars wine, a private tasting at Muscardini Cellars, and a gift certificate for three of the first months workshops, Pretty Little Pinatas, Pom-Pom Perfection, and Well Hello Letterpress. We also raffled off a goodie basket with a Studio Deseo necklace, Ancient Organics Ghee, Paper Garlands made by Marie Muscardini, and Erica Tanov socks
