Forming letters without nibs. In this workshop we will study letterforms to be used to make cards, boxes, and books.  Recognizing letters by cutting out, folding and forming, we can create pieces used for mailing, packaging or journaling. I will show you how to use the craft knife to cut and form all of these.

Exacto (we will supply new blades)

Dorothy Yuki is a design consultant and artist. She has traveled extensively and has taught in Mexico, Europe, South America and California. She has been a past President of Friends of Calligraphy and a recipient of Honorable Mentions for her art at the Altered Book Show at Marin Museum of Contemporary Art.  She is also a recipient of an award for her volunteer work at Ruth’s Table 2016. She has been a Master Educator for the Macy’s Fashion Incubator San Francisco.  She is now teaching at many venues in California and for the Sierra Gorda Ecological Group Mexico.
