During this 3 hour class students will use soft slabs of clay to create their own completely functional mug and plate set. Using an assortment of patterns to shape the forms, participants will be able to make up to 2 cups and 2 plates during the class. Scott will lead the group in exploring textures using stamps, rollers, shoe prints, etc. to create interesting surface designs. All materials and firings are included in the price of the course. Once completed, Scott will glaze each student’s work with their choice of glaze from a pre-selected pallet of colors and return the finished pieces to Handcraft for pick-up in 2 weeks.
