In this class, you will learn how to create three different types of repeat patterns – straight, bricked, and half drop - to block print your own yardage. The class will begin with a demonstration of the different repeat pattern types, then students will print their own yardage with guidance from the instructor. To take this class, you must have already taken Jen’s Block Printing on Fabric class (no  exceptions!) and bring a carved block to class as this class does not include a separate lesson on carving. In addition, all participants in this class must be comfortable with basic math. And please note that we will not be working on seamless patterns in this class. Ink, inking plates and rollers, and two yards of muslin will be provided, and you are encouraged to bring two yards of light-colored fabric in natural fibers as well.
