Learn to make beautiful and realistic magnolia leaves, for use in costuming, home decor, package wrapping, wreaths and more. Materials will be provided to create several magnolia leaves in natural greens and browns, as well as a few other papers to experiment with. Tiffanie will teach you how to give them their special sheen and demonstrate how to attach them to a branch as well. *

If you have a favorite pair of scissors you love to work with, feel free to bring them with you.

* If you're interested in joining Tiffanie for both her magnolia leaf + peony workshop you will receive a $20 discount. Please choose the option for both workshops for $150.

Tiffanie Turner is an artist who explores nature and botany in large and small scales in paper. She is a wife, mother of two young children, and a licensed California architect. Her work in paper stems from her background as an architect, particularly her interest in construction and repetitive motifs, along with her lifelong passion for flowers and botanical drawings. Her work can be seen around the Bay Area when she is exhibiting, online at www.papelsf.com Last spring at the de Young Museum Tiffanie was the artist in residence for the month of May 2016. She is currently writing her first book on paper flowers, entitled "The Fine Art of Paper Flowers," due out on Ten Speed Press in 2017.
