Stitch up a pair of cropped pants with a relaxed fit! In this workshop students will learn how to select fabric, tips on cutting and laying out pattern pieces to avoid confusion, and how to make an elastic waistband. Instruction will also be given for patch and inseam pockets options. The pattern, available in eight sizes, will be provided to take home. This is not a beginning sewing class, you will need to have some basic experience with a sewing machine. *

Please bring the following to class:

- 2.5 yards of pre-washed fabric of mid-weight fabric, such as linen, cotton, or natural fiber blend

- matching thread- 1.5 yard of 3/4 inch no-roll elastic

- 2 inches ribbon or twill tape (optional)

- fat quarter of pre-washed contrasting fabric for pockets (optional)

* Due to the length of the workshop please bring a bagged lunch or there are also a few walkable options in the neighborhood. Light snacks and drinks will also be served.
