Join us for a pom pom pro-skills workshop. This is a fun class focused on key foundations of selecting the fibers (types and weights), winding for patterns (solid, eye, fruit, random), tight tying, cutting and sculpting and attaching the pom pom. The workshop will start with making 3 types of pom poms with various yarns then will move to sculpting and pattern making.

You'll leave with skills to make various types and patterns of pom poms, a Loome tool, a pom pom trim guide, instructions and extra yarn. Attendees may bring personal items to attach their pom pom to.

Vilasinee is the founder Loome and the author of the forthcoming Loome Party (Abrams Books, Spring 2018). She co-invented and designed the Loome tools. Over the years, she's made thousands of pom poms and experimented with different fibers and techniques in her studio, at shows, at workshops, and for displays. She's an enthusiastic sharer of tips and tricks for making pom poms. See more @theloome.
