This class will be hands on. You will learn how to use a small battery powered circular saw and a drill. We will start with safety and learn how the tools work. We will then build a bird house for you to take home. Included will be handouts of all information in the class. There will also be tutorials in measuring, clamping, using a t square, cutting, drilling and screwing. It is my intention for you to go home with a heightened sense of empowerment and confidence around the handling of tools. If you have them, please bring eye & ear protection and a tape measure . Wear work clothes - there will be sawdust.*

* Due to the length of class we will take a lunch break. You can bring your own bagged lunch or there are a few walkable options in the neighborhood.
