GREAT Class for Beginners! Come to this class and leave with a Reversible Sling Bag that ties to any length for use! A side pocket is cut in a circle or diamond shape, or you may be adventurous and cut one of each in the two different reversible sides of the bag. Depending on your sewing level, you can make this Reversible Bag with one pocket, two pockets, or no pockets! This class may also be taken as a "Mommy and Me" Class. Please note that A "Mommy and Me" class is not limited to Moms. You can be an aunt, uncle, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, godmother, godfather, or friend of the child! 

Supply list for students to bring to class:

- Reversible Sling Bag Pattern - Show and Tell - Design 110 - Pattern available at Stonemountain and Daughter Fabrics (20% coupon will be emailed to you after registration is complete)

- Fabric Scissors 

- Dritz Quilting Straight Pins

- 2”x18" Quilting ruler with 1/8" increment squares. 

- 1 yard each of two different fabrics for each side of the bag. 

- Matching thread

- 2 - 1.5" diameter buttons to go with the chosen fabrics.  

Actively teaching since 1988, Barbara Beccio is also an award-winning doll designer who brings her inventive and inquisitive spirit to her sewing classes, workshops in costuming, doll and mask-making, and sculpture. She brings her knowledge of clothing construction and textiles as well as many costuming techniques, to the classes that she teaches. Currently, she teaches adult as well as children’s sewing classes around the Bay Area.
