Let the loom guide your hand! What is it like to weave without a pattern, without preconceptions? Immerse yourself in the joyful free weaving style based on the Japanese philosophy of Saori, which teaches that every thing, every piece of wool, blade of grass, missing thread, or skipped pattern line has its own beauty and dignity. Be inspired by the abundance of traditional and unusual materials that can be used in weaving. Use a 4-shaft table loom to make up your own composition as you go and create a wall hanging that is uniquely your own by using freeform weaving, knotting, loom-controlled patterns, and whimsical touches. *

* Due to the length of the workshop please bring a bagged lunch or there are also a few walkable options in the neighborhood. Light snacks and drinks will also be served.
