These peonies fall somewhere between botanical specimen and party pom pom, and are perfect for parties, costuming and home decor. In this workshop, Tiffanie will teach you the techniques to make the peony and leaves from a wide variety of crepe paper colors. Materials will be provided for the class, and you will be given extra materials to take home.

If you have a pair of scissors you enjoy cutting paper with, please feel free to bring them with you. Light refreshments will be provided. *

* If you want to join us for both of Tiffanie's workshops please choose the peony + rose option at checkout and receive a $20 discount.

Tiffanie Turner is an artist who explores nature and botany in large and small scales in paper. She is a wife, mother of two young children, and a licensed California architect. Her work in paper stems from her background as an architect, particularly her interest in construction and repetitive motifs, along with her lifelong passion for flowers and botanical drawings. Her work can be seen around the Bay Area when she is exhibiting, online at www.papelsf.com and @tiffanieturner. Last spring at the de Young Museum Tiffanie was the artist in residence for the month of May 2016. Her first book on paper flowers, titled "The Fine Art of Paper Flowers," by Ten Speed Press is now available for presale.
